5 Things You Can Find in my Monthly Newsletter

Did you know I have a newsletter? The Imogen Sandy MUA Newsletter is a one monthly email which is a little more personal and takes a look behind the scenes in the life of a makeup artist. It is mailed out at the beginning of every month, and I promise there is only one – no constant spam emails here! Today, I wanted to talk more about this and share 5 things you can find in my monthly newsletter.

  1. What I’ve Been Up To

Truthfully, what I’ve been up to is usually the bulk of my monthly newsletters. My months are very busy, especially in the summer months, so there is a lot to catch up on! Featured in your inbox may be a look behind the scenes at a styled shoot I have worked on, a round-up of that month’s wedding days, some holiday pictures when I go away (which almost always include a photo of a glass of wine!) and of course, lots of photos of my furry sidekick, Noah.

I keep my newsletter very casual and it is designed to feel like you’re simply having a catch up with me! Oh, and I also talk a lot about what I’ve been planting in my garden – yes I am an old lady!

A photo of my sidekick and an example of the essential wine photo. It’s worth signing up just for that!

2. Exclusive Discounts and Offers

Now who doesn’t love a bargain? To say thank you to my newsletter subscribers, I feature exclusive discounts and offers for seasonal events such as proms, Royal Ascot week and the festive season. If you love a discount, make sure you don’t miss out!

3. My Favourite Products

My professional kit seems to be constantly growing, and with this means trying out a lot of new products. Whenever I come across a product I’m particularly loving, I feature these in my newsletter, along with extra information about who that product is best suited for (mature skin, oily skin, natural makeup lovers) so you can easily tell if it is a product you might love too!

4. Tips & Tricks

My best tips and tricks go hand in hand when I’m recommending a new product and I love including these. The world of makeup can be an overwhelming place, so I keep my tips simple and easy to follow so you can feel confident in elevating your everyday makeup. If you ever have a specific technique or area of makeup you’re struggling with, drop me a message and I can feature this in my next email!

5. Upcoming Events

At the end of all of my newsletters, I like to talk about what I have coming up that next month so you can keep your eyes out on my social medias to follow along with what I’m up to! This may include upcoming busy seasons (to give you a head start on getting booked in!), details about showcases at wedding fairs as well as the occasional (very frequent) update on my seedlings and my allotment. I try to keep it a mix of professional updates as well as personal ones too!

I really enjoy writing my newsletter and look forward to it every month. It is a lovely way to catch up and a way for me to keep my head in gear when I’m in my very busy seasons!
