Group Makeup Lesson FAQs

Introducing my new group makeup lessons! Over the last few months, I have taught my first few group lessons and am excited to now officially launch them. Are you unsure what techniques or makeup products work best for you and your skin? Got some friends that feel the same way? My group makeup lessons are perfect for you! You and a group of friends can follow along as I teach my signature natural makeup look with your features and preferences in mind.

Today, I wanted to answer some of my group makeup lesson FAQs and chat a little more about them.

How is a group lesson taught?

I teach my group makeup lessons in a masterclass style, using either one or a few members of the group as models for different steps, whilst the rest of the group watch and follow along. All attendees are free to give me a shout at any time during the session and I can come and help with individual 1-1 advice.

Each lesson is completely unique to each group, meaning it can be tailored to your age range, skin concerns or skill level. I have taught lessons to groups aged 40+ as well as to groups aged below 16. I catered each session to the group to ensure it was age and budget appropriate (I didn’t recommend Charlotte Tilbury to 14 year olds!).

What is included?

Each of my group lessons come with a full product list that is tailored to your groups age range, including my favourite tried and tested kit products. This list can be personalised in various ways including with a more affordable budget in mind. If your group have any preferences, just let me know when booking in.

As well as this, each lesson also comes with a full step by step recap of your groups session, including extra tips and tricks.

How many people can attend a group session?

These sessions are perfect for groups of 4 to 8 people.

What do I need to bring?

I ask all of my clients to bring their own makeup bags and a mirror along with them for their lessons. I am then able to go through any of your current products to utilise as much as possible before recommending something new, minimising waste and saving you money! You can also bring a notepad and pen if you’d like to take notes.

How long should I allow for my group lesson?

My group lessons take between 3 to 4 hours, but this is dependent on the size of group. For a smaller group of 4, I would recommend around 2 and ½ hours, but I would confirm this with you once all the details have been discussed.

What is the price per person?

This is the best part! My group lessons are priced at £80 per person, which is £15 cheaper than my individual 1-1 sessions! I would require a non-refundable deposit of £10 per person, with the remaining balance to be paid on the day once you are all happy with the finished lesson.
