Hello! My name is Imogen, I am 22 years old and I am a professional makeup artist based in Wokingham. I am fully mobile so travel to all my clients at their homes and wedding venues. I currently cover all of Berkshire and surrounding areas. I specialise in Bridal and Special Occasion makeup, as well as makeup for photoshoots. As well as this, I also offer 1-1 makeup lessons with two lessons for you to choose from!

I pride myself on making each of my client’s look and feel beautiful for their special occasions, working closely alongside you to help you feel your best. I have an extensive kit including a range of my tried and tested favourite products to ensure the highest quality finish to your makeup look. These brands include Charlotte Tilbury, Estee Lauder, Hourglass and Anastasia Beverly Hills as well as many more!

I have loved makeup since I was eleven years old when I began watching makeup tutorials on Youtube and practicing on anyone who’d let me (sorry Dad!). As soon as I found out being a makeup artist could be a job, I knew that was what I wanted to do. I went to college to study makeup for two years and am now fully qualified. Whilst studying at college, I was lucky enough to work for KVD Vegan Beauty as a Retail Artist which gave me the opportunity to learn and train with some incredible artists within the industry.

After working on various makeup counters and as a carer in a dementia care home during the COVID lockdowns, I took the plunge to go full time with my freelance and started my business as Imogen Sandy MUA in December 2021. If someone told eleven year old me that I’d now be working full time as an MUA with my own business, I don’t think I’d have believed it! To be able to do what I love every day is such an honour and I am so grateful to everyone who has helped my dream become a reality!
